Terms and Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

1 Article 1 — Object and scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between Van Loire Experience, hereinafter referred to as "the Service Provider", and any natural or legal person wishing to benefit from the services offered, hereinafter referred to as "the Client". They apply to all private tourist excursion services, passenger transport (VTC), and tailor-made excursions offered by the Service Provider in the Loire Valley region.

2 Article 2 — Booking and confirmation

Any booking of a service implies the Client's unreserved acceptance of these GTCS. Bookings can be made by phone, email, or via the website contact form. The booking becomes final upon written confirmation (email) from the Service Provider and receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total service cost. The balance is due on the day of the service, payable in cash or by bank transfer.

3 Article 3 — Cancellation and modification

In case of cancellation by the Client more than 7 days before the service date: full refund of the deposit paid. In case of cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours before the service: 50% of the deposit is retained. In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before the service: the deposit is fully retained. In case of duly justified force majeure (dangerous weather conditions, illness with medical certificate, transport strike): full refund or rescheduling of the service free of charge. Any modification of a booking must be notified in writing and is subject to the Service Provider's agreement.

4 Article 4 — Prices and payment terms

Service prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (VAT). They include transport in a premium vehicle (air-conditioned 8-seater Van), the services of the driver-guide, fuel, and parking costs. They do not include: entrance fees to castles and tourist sites, paid wine tastings, the Client's meals, and any service not expressly mentioned in the excursion description. Prices may be revised at any time without notice on the website. The price applicable to the Client is the one in effect at the time of their booking confirmation.

5 Article 5 — Liability and insurance

The Service Provider is covered by professional liability insurance for damages caused to Clients within the scope of its services. The Service Provider cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control (traffic jams, exceptional site closures, weather conditions). The Client is responsible for their personal belongings throughout the service. The Service Provider undertakes to comply with the Highway Code and ensure passenger safety.

6 Article 6 — Applicable law and disputes

These GTCS are subject to French law. In case of dispute, the Client agrees to seek an amicable solution before any legal action. In the absence of an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Service Provider's registered office.
